“Roselawn Lilacs” is a dreamy impressionist painting of the lilacs my mom would pick at the old farmhouse that I grew up in. It’s nostalgic since they’re both gone now— the house was sold, and my mom passed away. It’s a tribute to the beautiful memories on Roselawn Avenue that were filled with everlasting love and the sweet perfume of lilacs.
