This gorgeous painting was created with the Fall in mind. It’s a depiction of summer ending, and the autumn season beginning. It has many layers of paint adding beautiful dimension done by a palette knife. I call this piece “Change of Seasons.”
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, and gesso with a palette knife to create this image. I sealed the piece with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and to add shimmer.
The canvas is premier-professional quality, and the back is a splined finish instead of back-stapled. I painted the edges in Payne’s gray so that framing isn’t necessary. The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it is signed.
