“When She Rises” is a painting that represents the unique morning shadows cast by the sun. I wanted to showcase the different variations of green in the field.
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, an airbrush medium, and I sealed the painting with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and to add a slight shine.
The canvas is premier-quality, meaning the canvas is thicker, the fabric is more durable, and it is made with kiln-baked wood.
The back is a clean splined finish instead of back-stapled. I painted the edges in paynes grey so that framing is optional. The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it is autographed both on the front and the back.
