The patterns in nature are like a great dance, and so I wanted to capture just that! I painted this piece intuitively, and there are many layers and patterns of heavy gel underneath— it makes one want to reach out and touch it. I covered this beauty with acrylic paint, and hints of metallic gold. Celebrate this beautiful world with original art, that was made entirely from my heart.
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, metallic paint, airbrush medium, heavy gel, and a palette knife/brush combo to complete this painting. I sealed the piece with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading and yellowing, and to add slight shine.
The canvas is premier-professional quality, and the back is a splined finish instead of back-stapled. The wooden structure was kiln-dried to prevent warping, and you can feel the quality.
I finished the edges in paynes grey so that framing is not necessary, but welcome. The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it signed.
