This textured palette knife painting is handmade and original, and depicts a cloudy afternoon in the late summer. The trees are ready to change color, the days are getting shorter, and there’s a slight chill in the air. That’s what I see. What do you see?
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, and a palette knife to complete this painting.
The painting is unframed, but it’s nice to see what it could look like if you choose one, so I added a photograph of it framed.
I sealed the piece with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and to add intense shine.
The canvas is premier-professional quality, and the back is a splined finish instead of back-stapled. I finished the edges, and continued the scene from the front on to the sides as well.
The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it signed.

The painting is wrapped in glassine paper and kraft paper with a ribbon and gallery label.
