Original Palette Knife Painting | 20x24

Original Palette Knife Painting | 20x24 Painting | Abstract Painting Green | Large Wall Decor | Knife Art | Handmade Gift | Green Abstract

This striking abstract original is looking for a loving wall to call home. Created with just a palette knife, this is wall art that comes from the heart. I painted this intuitively with nothing but my imagination. I call it “April Showers,” because it reminds me of the spring thaw in Minnesota when it’s wet and green.

MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, and an airbrush medium. I sealed the painting with a protective varnish to prevent yellowing, to protect it from fading, and to add an elegant shimmer.

The canvas is premier-professional quality meaning it's made with kiln-treated wood and a thicker cotton canvas. The back of the canvas is a splined finish instead of back-stapled.

The edges are a continuation of the image on the front— finished and fully covered with paint. The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it is autographed. The bottom right of the painting is signed as well.

This painting comes unframed, but if you choose to frame it, I suggest a float frame.

DIMENSIONS
Be sure to measure out the dimensions of this painting (20x24x1.50”) so that you have an accurate idea of the size.

I use a home interior app, ArtStage, to display my work, and the dimensions in the staged rooms are accurate. This demonstrates which interior styles work with the painting’s energy.

SHIPPING (USA only)
The painting is wrapped in protective glassine paper, and then wrapped with a ribbon & gallery label. It’s beautiful!

I use UPS as my shipping carrier for this painting. It takes me 1-3 days to prepare your art for shipment, and I ship at ground speed at no cost to you!

ABOUT
I am an award-winning intuitive artist from the Minneapolis suburbs (Minnesota, USA). My art is a way of coping with the loss of my mom, and PTSD. I am blessed to have a natural gift of coping by creating beautiful art, and I try to spread joy through my heartache.
