ABOUT
This original painting is extra-large (36x48”) with gorgeous texture, and metallic silver accents. It’s dark and mysterious. This painting is a bit dark; gray, blue, silver, and white are the colors in this work of art.
I want to paint freely and not judge myself by the outcome. This painting originated from a mistake. I smeared the original image while the paint was wet, and here was the outcome. I see the famous National Park, Banff. What do you see?
This painting won the blue ribbon: Best of Show at the Maple Grove Arts Center gallery in 2023.
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, and metallic paint. I covered the painting with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and to add rich shine. I used a palette knife and a brush to complete this piece.
The canvas is premier-professional quality, and the back is back-stapled so that it can be re-stretched by a professional in the future if ever needed. I painted the edges in “payne’s grey” which is nearly black for a clean and finished appearance so that framing is not necessary.
I also want to mention that the canvas is deeper than the standard size- 1.50” deep. The wooden frame is made with kiln-dried wood to help prevent warping. It’s a special feature when looking for quality in a stretched canvas.
The back has wire installed, it has my gallery label, and it is autographed. The front is signed on the bottom right-corner.

I use a home interior app to display my work and note that dimensions may be slightly off in the photos. I use the app so that you get a general idea of what it would look like on the wall within various spaces.

The painting is wrapped in glassine paper, kraft paper, and has my gallery label with a ribbon. It is beautiful—natural with a bit of elegance when it is all wrapped up.
I use protective cardboard corners to protect the edges, and bubble wrap. Each painting comes with care instructions, and a handwritten thank you note just for you!
I use UPS as my shipping carrier for this painting. It takes me 3-6 business days to prepare your canvas for shipment, and I ship at ground-speed at no cost to you— to residents of the United States only. At this time I only ship to the USA.
