ABOUT
“Tipping Point” is an original canvas painting depicting "being on the edge." The scattered and choppy palette knife marks are bold and dramatic. This painting is sure to make a statement in your space!
This piece was proudly exhibited at “The MacRostie Art Center," a well-known gallery in Grand Rapids, MN (2021).
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, China marker, and an airbrush medium. I sealed the painting with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, to prevent yellowing, and to add a bit of shine. The entire painting was created with a palette knife. There is some texture, and gold accents.
The premier-quality canvas is constructed with splined-binding (no visible staples on the back) vs. back-stapled for a cleaner appearance. It is archival and will last for several generations.
FEATURES
I painted the edges in Payne’s Grey for a finished appearance so that framing is not necessary. The back has wire installed, my gallery label, and it is autographed. The painting will be signed on the front before shipment.
DIMENSIONS
Please measure out the dimensions of this painting (20x24x7/8”) so that you have an accurate idea of the size. I use a home interior app to display my work but note that dimensions could appear slightly off. I use the app so that you get a general idea of what it would look like on the wall within a home.
SHIPPING (USA only)
The painting is wrapped in glassine paper, kraft paper, and has my gallery label. I use protective cardboard corners for the edges, and bubble wrap to protect the art. I use UPS as my shipping carrier for this painting. It takes me 1-3 business days to prepare your canvas for shipment, and I ship at ground speed at no cost to you!
If you need a faster delivery please message me and I can calculate the shipping cost, but those fees are your responsibility.
