“Sail” is an intense depiction of sailboats in a moody storm. This painting is mixed media, and filled with texture and surprise. As an original, it is impossible to duplicate!
MATERIALS
I used acrylic paint, gesso, airbrush medium, China marker, and a heavy gel medium to complete this painting. I sealed the piece with a UV-protective varnish to prevent it from fading, and yellowing, and to add slight shine.
The canvas is premier-professional quality, and the back is a splined finish instead of back-stapled. The wooden structure was kiln-dried to prevent warping, and you can feel the quality by the weight. I finished the edges in the same colors as the front, so that framing is not necessary, but welcome. The back has an hook installed, it has my gallery label, and it signed.

The painting is wrapped in glassine paper and kraft paper.
